Who We Are
Jeneca Ltd is an organisation based in Yorkshire and focus on providing the tools and skills necessary for school leavers to contend in the ever competitive employment market. Offering educational training seminars and tailored one to one support Jeneca provides a base on which individuals are able to progress in their chosen employment field. Jeneca can deliver a course in house to provide school leavers with further information on the job market and how to gain sustainable employment. With years of recruitment experience and market knowledge the people behind Jeneca can provide up to date, accurate, employer engaging tools and advice.
Our aim is to bridge the gap from education through to employment.
What We Do
Jeneca delivers an in house course to provide your school leavers with information on how to gain sustainable employment. We will then monitor the sustainability of any employment found by those who undertook the course, providing statistical information that can be reviewed and used by your institution. Jeneca will educate individuals on the following:
- Curriculum Vitaes - A comprehensive guide to it’s purpose, it’s content and how to construct an engaging and unique document. Jeneca will provide each student with a professionally written, individually specific CV.
- Covering and speculative letters – A look at the differences between covering and speculative letters, how they interact with the recruitment process and how to write an effective, tailored letter to accompany your CV.
- Interviews – An interactive course that shows the purpose of an interview, the different types that can be used and how to conduct and sell yourself appropriately within an interview setting. Covering aspects from regularly asked questions, good interview responses, common mistakes and hints and tips.
- Job search skills and techniques – How to use the tools and techniques delivered throughout the courses to effectively engage in the job search process, from finding advertised vacancies to speculatively searching for a job. Helping you find the right career for you.
By the end of the 4 day course all attendees will have a CV, speculative letter and covering letter in a variety of medium to distribute to employers. They will also have a clear understanding of these marketing medium and how they interact with the recruitment process from application, to interview, to sustained employment.
Who We Help
Jeneca has a simple ethos and company policy which gives people the opportunity to succeed. We want to help the younger generation achieve their potential and give them the tools to carve their own future. Specialising in teaching 16-18 year olds were are able to give students the information they need to ensure they have the foundations for a successful career. The employment market is fast becoming a difficult, competitive and challenging place to be, those without experience face a difficult up hill battle. Jeneca therefore look towards educational institutions in order to help us provide this important service. By teaching the children of today, we are helping the adults of tomorrow. Secondary schools, Sixth forms and Colleges are the perfect place for us to help.
We envisage that GNVQ qualifications, apprenticeships and GCSE students can all benefit from the Jeneca 4 day course, providing them the necessary skills to venture into the world of employment.
Online Course
Jeneca are proud to offer an online course to help support the student learning experience. Here the course resources are accessible in and outside the classroom giving students the opportunity to share the course with their family giving them access to updated resources and further information.
